Against the backdrop of continuous changes in the global energy landscape and a new stage of comprehensive development and utilization of coal resources, coal geology, as a key discipline in the energy field, has significant theoretical innovation and technological breakthroughs for ensuring national energy security and promoting green energy transformation. In order to conduct in-depth discussions on the frontier dynamics of coal geology, exchange advanced concepts and technologies in the exploration, development, and utilization of coal bearing resources, and promote interdisciplinary integration and deep cooperation between industry, academia, and research, China University of Mining and Technology plans to hold the "2026 Fourth Academic Forum on the Frontiers of Coal Geology Discipline and Coal Bearing Resource Research" from April 25th to 26th (reported on the 24th).
