Huang Huazhou,male,native of Jingzhou,Hubei. Ph.D,Associate Professor,Master's Supervisor. Main research directions are Coalbed Methane development and gas control,coal measure gas development geology,coal geochemistry,etc. He teaches undergraduate professional basic courses such as "Unconventional Energy Mining Engineering","Coalbed Methane Extraction Technology","Mine Gas Prevention and Control",and the graduate course "Geological Resource Exploration Technology".

As a project leader,he has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project,a sub-project of the National Major Scientific Research Instrument Development Project,a sub-project of the National Natural Science Foundation Key Project,etc.; presided over 21 university-enterprise cooperation projects; and presided over 2 university-level teaching reform projects of China University of Mining and Technology.

He has published more than 30 papers,of which 12 SCI/EI papers were published as the first author or corresponding author in mainstream journals such as International Journal of Coal Geology,Natural Resources Research,Journal of China Coal Society,Acta Sedimentologica Sinica,and Coal Geology & Exploration. He has been authorized (applied for) 6 national invention patents.
