Yang Haiyan,male,born in December 1980 in Fuyang,Anhui Province,holds a master's degree,a doctoral degree,a professor title,and a doctoral supervisor. He is a visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the United States.Hejoined China University of Mining and Technology in August 2020 and currently serve as the Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Province Underwater Exploration Innovation Platform.Heisalso a member of the Earth Electromagnetic Professional Committee of the Chinese Geophysical Society and an expert at the Degree and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education. Served as an editorial board member or young editorial board member for journals such asInternational Journal of Mining Science and Technology,Journal of East China University of Technology (Natural Science Edition),andEast China Geology,Geophysics、Geological Journal、Earth、Planets and Space、Journal of Applied Geophysics、Journal of Geophysics and Engineering、Reviewer for important academic journals at home and abroad,such as the Journal of Geophysics and Coalfield Geology and Exploration. Hosted 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects and over 20 other vertical and horizontal research projects. Obtained 3 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological awards,2 industry scientific and technological awards,published 3 academic monographs,obtained 12 authorized national invention patents and 6 utility model patents,published more than 60 academic papers in mainstream academic journals at home and abroad,and participated in the compilation of 2 industry standards in the People's Republic of China. Guided graduate students to obtain 2 excellent master's theses at the provincial level in Jiangxi and 1 excellent master's thesis at China University of Mining and Technology. The main research directions are: electromagnetic exploration theory and application,time-domain electromagnetic tensor measurement theory in boreholes,and shallow surface 3D fine geological modeling.
