Within the past three years, candidates in science and engineering should have participated in national-level research projects, while those in humanities and management should have participated in provincial or ministerial-level research projects, or have received provincial or ministerial-level science and technology awards, or hold national invention patents. Additionally, candidates must have published "three types of high-quality papers" (papers in domestic scientific journals with international influence, papers in internationally recognized top-tier or important scientific journals, or papers presented at top-tier domestic or international academic conferences).
**II. Compensation and Benefits**
The university offers an annual salary of 200,000 RMB (before tax, including social insurance, housing provident fund, and supplementary medical insurance to be paid by the postdoctoral researcher). Seventy percent of the salary is paid monthly, 20% is paid after passing the annual assessment, and the remaining portion is paid upon passing the exit assessment. Cooperative supervisors, research stations, and affiliated units may provide additional compensation. The university determines the social insurance contribution base in accordance with relevant regulations and handles social insurance for postdoctoral researchers as enterprise employees in Xuzhou, including basic pension insurance, basic medical insurance, work-related injury insurance, unemployment insurance, and maternity insurance. The portion of the insurance premiums to be paid by the university is covered by the university, while the portion to be paid by the postdoctoral researcher is deducted from their salary. Social insurance contributions are based on the contribution base during the term of service. Adjustments will be made according to actual amounts in case of policy changes. Postdoctoral researchers with excellent academic backgrounds (graduated from globally renowned universities ranked within the top 200 worldwide) will receive an additional subsidy of 30,000 RMB from the university (paid after passing the year-end assessment upon registration). Those selected for national funding programs such as the National Postdoctoral Program, Hong Kong Scholars Program, Macau Young Scholars Program, Sino-German Postdoctoral Exchange Program, or Jiangsu Province Excellent Postdoctoral Program may enjoy叠加待遇from national and provincial funding in addition to the university's compensation. During the term of service, postdoctoral researchers may apply for university postdoctoral apartments and enjoy equal treatment with the university’s regular faculty and staff in areas such as childcare and school enrollment for children, application for various projects, rewards for high-level achievements, and access to experimental equipment. They may also join the labor union and enjoy related福利待遇.

**IV. Postdoctoral Funds and Programs**
Postdoctoral researchers may apply for the following funds and programs:
1. National Funding Programs (A\B\C), Jiangsu Province Excellent Postdoctoral Program.
2. Three types of Postdoctoral Science Funds (General, Special Assistance, Publication).

**V. Assessment and Criteria for Staying at the University**
Postdoctoral assessments primarily consist of annual assessments, mid-term assessments, exit assessments, and final assessments. Projects and achievements involved in the assessments must be accomplished during the postdoctoral term with China University of Mining and Technology as the first affiliation and the researcher as the first applicant or author. Failure to pass annual, mid-term, or exit assessments or refusal to participate in assessments will result in termination of the agreement and withdrawal from the program.
1. The determination of positions for postdoctoral researchers staying at the university involves three steps: exit assessment, final assessment, and position application and confirmation.
2. The exit assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of the postdoctoral researcher’s scientific research achievements, overall quality, research capabilities, and academic level conducted by the research station. The assessment adopts an achievement scoring system (specific scoring standards are detailed in the table below), with a minimum total score of 800 points. The results serve as the basis for salary payment.
3. The final assessment is a comprehensive evaluation organized by the university after the exit assessment, serving as a prerequisite for postdoctoral researchers applying for teaching and research positions at the university. It follows a scoring and rating system, with scoring standards consistent with the table above. Postdoctoral researchers are eligible to apply for the final assessment. The university organizes final assessments quarterly, with results categorized as excellent, qualified, or unqualified.
- **Excellent:** Presided over one National Natural Science Foundation project, National Social Science Foundation project, key project of the National Key R&D Program, or Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program (for humanities and management disciplines, at least one provincial or ministerial-level natural or social science fund project, along with one National Postdoctoral Fund project), with a total score ≥ 1500 points.
- **Qualified:** Presided over one provincial or ministerial-level natural or social science fund project, or received National Postdoctoral Special Assistance, first-class National Postdoctoral General Assistance, International Cooperation and Exchange Program Introduction Project, Postdoctoral International Exchange Program Dispatch Project, Hong Kong Scholars Program, Macau Young Scholars Program, or Sino-German Postdoctoral Exchange Program, with a total score ≥ 1000 points.
- **Unqualified:** Failed to meet the criteria for excellent or qualified.
Scores for the above categories are cumulative based on achievements during the training period specified in the relevant agreement. For early participation in the final assessment, score requirements remain unchanged. For those whose term exceeds the training period specified in the agreement, the required score increases by 300 points for each additional year (fractions of a year are counted as a full year).
4. **Position Application and Confirmation:** Postdoctoral researchers may apply to stay at the university as assistant professors upon approval by the prospective unit and the university, enjoying treatment for assistant professors. Those applying for associate professor positions must be reviewed and approved by the university’s talent work leading group.
5. Postdoctoral researchers who pass the final assessment may apply for relevant positions in accordance with the university’s talent recruitment policies and procedures.
