Wu Yun,Male, born in Tongling, Anhui Province, of Han nationality. He holds a postgraduate education, a Doctoral degree in Engineering, and is a Tenure-Track Associate Professor. His main research interests include: geological disposal of nuclear waste, underground energy storage, and deep geothermal development. He was selected into the 2022 Jiangsu Excellent Postdoctoral Funding Program. He presides over or participates in 10 projects, including the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key Projects (sub-projects), Open Projects of State Key Laboratories, and Key Projects of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. He has published more than 70 academic papers, including 28 SCI&EI papers as the first/corresponding author. He was rated as a Top 5% Highly Cited Scholar and a High-Influence Scholar by CNKI in 2024. He has been authorized 13 invention patents (4 international invention patents and 9 domestic invention patents), 8 software copyrights. He has won the Excellence Award (R1) of the 7th "Zhuan Yan Cup" Young Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the Third Prize (R11) of the 9th "Zhuan Yan Cup" Young Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the Young Science and Technology Award of Jiangsu Low-Carbon Technology Society (R1), the Gold Medal of the International Geneva Invention Exhibition (R2), and the Merit Award of the Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (R6).
