Xie Jingyu,Associate Professor/Master's Supervisor of China University of Mining and Technology, recipient of the 9th China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) Young Talent Lifting Project. He concurrently serves as a member of the Geothermal Professional Committee of the Geological Society of China, a member of the Low-Carbon Energy Rock Mechanics and Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, a member of the Carbon Neutrality and Energy Transition Professional Committee of the China (Germany) R&D and Innovation Alliance, a Young Editorial Board Member of Journal of Mining Science and Technology and Bulletin of Geological Science and Technology, and a Guest Editor of Processes. His main research interests include: ① Development of medium-deep geothermal resources, enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) fracturing and hydrothermal geothermal reconstruction for stimulation; ② Thermal-hydro-mechanical (THM) coupling simulation of CO₂ geological storage in low-permeability oil reservoirs; ③ Physical and numerical simulation of rock mechanics in hydraulic fracturing, and high-temperature rock mechanics; ④ Fracturing microseismic monitoring and moment tensor inversion.
