Guo Qiang,born in December 1989,native of Hefei,Anhui. Ph.D,Associate Professor,Doctoral Supervisor. He received his Bachelor's degree in Geophysics from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in 2012,his Master's degree in Geophysics from Michigan Technological University in 2015,and his Ph.D. in Earth Exploration and Information Technology from Hohai University in 2019 (Joint training at Michigan Technological University from 2017 to 2018). From 2019 to 2022,he worked at the College of Information Engineering,China Jiliang University. Since 2022,he has been working at the School of Resources and Geosciences,China University of Mining and Technology. He is mainly engaged in research work such as seismic data inversion,reservoir parameter prediction,and seismic rock physics. He has presided over projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2 projects),sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program,the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province,the General Funding of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation,and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. He has published 16 SCI papers and 2 EI papers as the first author,authorized 5 national invention patents as the first inventor,and registered 2 software copyrights. He was awarded the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award,the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Hohai University,and the Excellent Paper Award of the Annual Meeting of Oil and Gas Geophysics. He has been approved for a first-class undergraduate course in Zhejiang Province. He serves as a Youth Editorial Board Member of Journal of Geophysics and Engineering,Journal of Seismic Exploration,and Geophysical Prospecting for Petroleum,and a reviewer for SCI journals such as Geophysics,IEEE TGRS,JPSE,PAAG,Geophys Prospect,Explor Geophys,Interpretation,Comput & Geosci,and BGTA.
