Chen Yilin,male,born in September 1985,native of Zhangzhou,Fujian. Ph.D. (Postdoc),Associate Professor,Doctoral Supervisor. Currently serves as Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Coalbed Methane Resources and Reservoir Formation Process of the Ministry of Education,Member of the Gas Geochemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Mineralogy,Petrology and Geochemistry,and Youth Editorial Board Member of Coal Geology & Exploration. Main research directions are Organic Petrology,Coal Geology,and Geochemistry. He teaches undergraduate professional basic courses such as "Organic Petrology","Energy Geology","Coalbed Methane Geology",and "Coal Mine Geology"; and teaches the graduate course "Advanced Mineralogy,Petrology,and Mineral Deposit Geology".

As a project leader,he has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation General Project,the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project,the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Funding Project,a sub-project of the Xinjiang Major Science and Technology Special Project,and the Youth Science and Technology Foundation Project of China University of Mining and Technology; meanwhile,as the person in charge of the cooperating unit,he has presided over 1 National Natural Science Foundation General Project. As a main researcher,he has participated in 2 National Major Science and Technology Special Projects,2 National Natural Science Foundation Key Projects,3 National Natural Science Foundation General Projects,and 5 horizontal research projects.

He has published more than 30 SCI/EI papers,including 16 SCI/EI papers (7 in Top journals) as the first author in mainstream journals such as Chemical Geology,International Journal of Coal Geology,SCIENCE CHINA Earth Sciences,Fuel,Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering,Science China: Earth Sciences,Acta Petrolei Sinica,Journal of China Coal Society,Spectroscopy and Spectral Analysis,Journal of China University of Mining & Technology,Natural Gas Geoscience,and Coal Geology & Exploration. He serves as a reviewer for international/domestic journals such as Ore Geology Reviews,Petroleum Science,Energy & Fuels,Natural Resources Research,International Journal of Coal Science & Technology,Energy Sources,Part A: Recovery,Utilization,and Environmental Effects,Geofluids,Energy Geoscience,ACS Omega,PLOS ONE,Coal Geology & Exploration,Natural Gas Geoscience,and Bulletin of Geological Science and Technology; and has applied for 7 authorized national invention patents. He has successively won honors or awards such as the First Prize of Science and Technology of the China Coal Industry Association,the First Prize of National Coal Industry Teaching Achievements,the First Prize/Second Prize of Teaching Achievements of China University of Mining and Technology,and the Excellent Undergraduate Graduation Design (Thesis) Instructor of China University of Mining and Technology.

As a project leader,he has presided over 3 university-level teaching reform projects of China University of Mining and Technology and published 4 teaching reform papers. He has guided undergraduates of the School of Resources and Geosciences,China University of Mining and Technology to preside over 3 provincial and university-level college student practical innovation training plan projects.
